Paracas Reserve ready to receive tourism again

A year after a magnitude 7.9 earthquake struck Ica and Lima, the Paracas National Reserve is recovering from the devastation and tourism is on the rise. The Paracas National Reserve is located in the department of Ica, province of Pisco, district of Paracas and has a surface of 335.000 hectares.

Paracas National Reserve is the only coastal marine reserve that includes a portion of the Pacific Ocean within its borders. The damage caused by the strong earthquake forced local authorities to close the park's doors; but fortunately, this measure only lasted two months. The employees working at the national reserve, intensified efforts to reopen this ecological attraction which has a great marine biodiversity.

Today, Paracas along with Nasca Lines are waiting for you to show you all of their beauty and enigmas. You can see and book tours regarding Ica, Paracas and Nazca at traficoperu.com, as well as tours along all of Peru.
