Gastronomy attracts 42% of the tourists to Peru

As per information received from the Vice-president of the Gastronomy Sub-committee of Lima’s Chamber of Commerce, 42% of the tourists that arrive to Peru come motivated by its gastronomy, considered among the best in the world.

He also said that studies show that 90% of those visitors are willing to come back to the country, only to taste again the Peruvian flavors. On other hand, the President of the Gastronomy Committee said that the boom of the Peruvian gastronomy has motivated the opening of more businesses on this sector of the economy.
